DNB Engineering, Inc. is a NVLAP-accredited EMC, EMI, HIRF, lightning, and environmental testing laboratory with its corporate headquarters at 1750 Raymer Avenue in Fullerton, California, a dedicated lightning testing facility in Anaheim, California, and an additional facility in Coalville, Utah. The company has been involved in engineering and qualification testing for most major aerospace and defense prime contractors and hundreds of their subcontractors across the US over the past 40+ years. Accreditations and recognitions include NVLAP, FCC, CE, Nemko, CSA, TÜV, VCCI, and SEMI. DNB maintains a strategic collaboration with the National Radio Research Agency of Korea and has participated in testing for major military, aerospace, automotive, and commercial programs across its history. EMC and EMI testing capabilities cover the full scope of RTCA/DO-160 (all revisions and sections), MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-1399, and SAE ARP 5412–5416. HIRF testing and direct and induced-effect lightning testing are specialty capabilities offered at the Anaheim lightning facility. ESD testing, connector and component qualification testing, and product safety testing are also offered. Environmental testing capabilities include MIL-STD-810, HALT/HASS, vibration, and shock testing, with expanded shock and vibration capabilities added in 2025. Custom products including Line Impedance Stabilization Networks (LISNs) are manufactured and available for sale. Testing Services
VPI Technology does not perform full EMC or EMI compliance testing in house. However, they do support clients with early stage evaluations and coordinating with third-party test houses to perform formal compliance testing. VPI can provide pre-scan evaluations to identify potential EMC or EMI issues during development.
