Description
The AH Systems PAM-0207A is an updated broadband preamplifier covering 20 MHz to 7 GHz, designed to improve system dynamic range in both EMC lab and field RFI testing environments. It delivers a minimum of 25 dB of system sensitivity improvement and is positioned as a step up from the original PAM-0207, featuring improved frequency response and built-in input protection.
The added input protection makes the PAM-0207A a more resilient option for test environments where signal levels may be unpredictable, reducing the risk of front-end damage during emissions or general-purpose measurements. The unit is individually calibrated, supplied with a gain calibration certificate, and suited for use in FCC, MIL-STD, VDE, and TEMPEST testing applications. Like all AH Systems preamplifiers, it comes with a 12-volt DC regulated power source. A low voltage indicator enables operation from an external 12V DC battery, offering flexibility for portable field setups. The unit has a compact, rugged construction and ships with N-type connectors.
