UBBV DC20

Description
The Aaronia UBBV DC20 is an ultra-wideband preamplifier covering DC to 20 GHz, designed as a versatile general-purpose RF amplifier for EMC measurements and weak signal detection. With a typical gain of 14 dB and a noise figure of 2.5 dB, it improves broadband system sensitivity by up to 15 dB — compensating for negative antenna gain and boosting signals that would otherwise fall below the noise floor of a spectrum analyzer.
Compatible with any brand of spectrum analyzer, the UBBV DC20 is a natural companion to Aaronia's SPECTRAN V5 and V6 series, connecting directly via its SMA female input and SMA male output. Key specifications include a maximum input of +15 dBm, maximum output of +16 dBm, and a 50 Ω impedance. The unit weighs 146 g and has a compact form factor of 81 × 61 × 29 mm, making it well-suited for both bench and field use.
The UBBV DC20 features an integrated battery, allowing fully portable operation without a mains power source. Each unit is developed, individually produced, and calibrated at the Aaronia factory in Germany. It ships complete with an aluminum carrying case, international charger/power supply, SMA adapter, SMA tool, and USB cable.
