LNA 6900

Description
The Teseq LNA 6900 is an ultra-wideband low-noise preamplifier with a nominal frequency range of 9 kHz to 2 GHz and usable performance up to 4 GHz, designed to significantly improve the sensitivity of spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, and other RF measurement instruments in compliance testing environments. With 25 dB of gain and a typical noise figure of 4 dB, it addresses a fundamental limitation of general-purpose measurement instruments — spectrum analyzers can have noise figures of 20 dB or more, and even dedicated EMI receivers may have noise figures around 10 dB. Inserting the LNA 6900 between the antenna and the instrument input brings the effective system noise figure close to that of the preamplifier itself, revealing signals that would otherwise be masked by instrument noise.
Supported test standards include CISPR 13, CISPR 14-1, CISPR 15, CISPR 16-1-1, CISPR 16-2-3, CISPR 22, CISPR 25, CISPR 32, EN 61000-6-3, EN 61000-6-4, MIL-STD-461, and RTCA/DO-160 — covering the full range of commercial, automotive, and aerospace EMC emissions requirements. The LNA 6900 is part of the Teseq RF system components and accessories range, manufactured under the AMETEK CTS group.
