Bolls ApS is an independent Danish test house and CE-marking consultancy founded in 2001 by Kim Boll Jensen, a 1985 DIA-E engineering graduate who has worked in EMC and international type approvals since 1987 and sits on medical product standardisation committees. The company runs its own EMC laboratory at Ved Gadekaeret 11F in Slagslunde, north-west of Copenhagen, and positions itself deliberately as a non-accredited alternative: it states that its EMC reports are often accepted globally on a par with accredited reports but at a fraction of the cost. Emissions coverage runs from 30 MHz to 7 GHz (extendable to 18 GHz), magnetic field emission from 25 Hz to 30 MHz, and conducted emission from 9 kHz to 300 MHz, measured on a fast Rohde & Schwarz receiver chosen specifically because it lets an engineer see the effect of a fix across the whole frequency range in real time. A combined immunity and emissions test station carries four surveillance cameras so the EUT can be monitored continuously. Supply options are unusually broad for a lab this size: 50-250 VAC at 16.7-400 Hz up to 16 A single phase, 0-400 VAC 50 Hz at 16 A per phase in three phase (32 A for some tests), and up to 60 VDC at 60 A. Beyond the common product-family standards it runs ISO 7637 automotive transient tests, EN 60945 for marine equipment, part of DO-160 for airborne equipment, a range of MIL-STD-461 tests on recently purchased equipment, and MIL-STD-810 environmental tests. Troubleshooting is the stated core of the offer - designers are encouraged to attend so knowledge transfers, and the company says it prefers not to send a customer home without a solution. ESD guns, burst generators, voltage dip generators, HV testers and a spectrum analyser with antennas can be hired out, and the climate chamber is rentable by the hour with or without a technician. The same site also does electrical safety, vibration, light and sound testing, plus CE-marking courses covering manufacturer and importer product liability.

EKTOS is a Danish-Ukrainian electronics group founded in 2007 by Jesper Holst and Niels Martin Joergensen, starting with five people in Viborg, Denmark and Kharkiv, Ukraine and now over 100 specialists across six offices in Denmark, Ukraine and Slovenia. It is structured in three divisions - Development (DEV), Testing & Reliability (TRS) and Manufacturing (MAN, trading as TECHTO Electronics) - which is the distinguishing feature for EMC customers: a failed test can be handed straight to the in-house hardware development department rather than back to the client. EKTOS TRS runs two fully equipped EMC laboratories in Denmark, at Hammerholmen 45A in Hvidovre near Copenhagen and Peter Bangs Vej 17 in Struer, both operating under ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation recognised by DANAK and the EA MLA, with the current scope published on the DANAK website under EKTOS TRS. Both accredited and non-accredited testing are offered, and reports support approvals in over 80 countries including CE marking under the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and FCC Part 15. Published immunity capability is specific: radiated RF immunity up to 30 V/m, conducted RF immunity up to 15 V RMS, surge up to 6.6 kV, EFT/burst up to 4.4 kV, magnetic field immunity up to 440 A/m, ESD up to 15 kV air and 8 kV contact discharge, and ISO transient pulses for automotive and agricultural equipment. Emissions cover radiated and conducted RF plus harmonics, and wireless work spans short range devices, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GSM/LTE. EMC can be combined with vibration, climatic, mechanical, HALT and safety testing in one approval programme, and clients may attend on site or follow remotely; most EMC projects complete within one to two weeks. The group achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification in July 2026 and works across energy, defence and security, medical, agriculture and food, marine and transportation, IoT, HVAC, industrial controls and drone and robotics sectors.

FORCE Technology is a Danish self-owned, non-profit GTS institute (Approved Technological Service provider) headquartered at Park Alle 345 in Broendby, and is one of Scandinavia's largest technological service companies. Its EMC operation runs across three Nordic sites - Hoersholm and Aarhus in Denmark and Vaesteraas in Sweden - and is among the most heavily equipped in northern Europe. The flagship chamber measures 20.1 x 13.0 x 8.8 m with a 3 x 3 m port, a 5 m turntable rated to 10,000 kg distributed load and a floor rated to 10,000 kg/m2, allowing whole vehicles and large industrial installations to be driven in and measured at 1 m, 3 m or 10 m. The estate includes 10 m and 3 m anechoic chambers with hybrid absorbers, both semi-anechoic and full-anechoic configurations, 10 m and 3 m reverberation chambers reaching roughly 1,000 V/m, multiple shielded rooms and climatic chambers. Published capability covers radiated and conducted emissions from 9 kHz to 40 GHz, radiated immunity from 26 MHz to 40 GHz, ESD to plus or minus 30 kV, EFT/burst to plus or minus 4.8 kV, surge to plus or minus 10 kV, conducted immunity 9 kHz to 230 MHz at up to 30 V RMS or 260 mA, and power-frequency magnetic field to 1,000 A/m, with supplies to 400 VAC three-phase at 125 A / 60 kW, 690 V three-phase AC and 1,100 V DC. Accreditation is ISO/IEC 17025 through DANAK (testing registration no. 100), and FORCE is an IECEE CB Scheme national certification body and CB test laboratory as well as a notified body. For vehicles it is an appointed Designated Technical Service for UNECE R10 covering both electronic sub-assemblies and whole vehicles, and is designated by KBA and STA so it can produce documentation for the German e1 and Swedish e5 schemes. It also operates a genuinely mobile, military-grade MIL-STD-461 test facility that deploys instrumentation and specialists to a customer's own site for security-restricted or untransportable platforms, and runs the EMC Club, a members' network giving access to do-it-yourself pre-testing facilities with in-house specialist support at Hoersholm and Aarhus.
