Etteplan Oyj is a Finnish listed technology service company headquartered at Tekniikantie 4 D in Espoo with offices across Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Denmark, China and a US sales office. Its Test Laboratory operates under FINAS accreditation T298 to SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025 across two sites, Aholaidantie 3 in Jyvaskyla and Visiokatu 4 in Tampere; the accreditation originated with Espotel Oy's Jyvaskyla EMC laboratory, which Etteplan acquired, and at the time was one of only a handful of accredited commercial EMC laboratories in Finland. What sets the laboratory apart in a directory sense is the unusual breadth of its published product-standard list, which crosses far more sectors than most single-site labs: generic immunity and emission standards (IEC/EN 61000-6-1 to -6-4 including 61000-6-7 for functional safety in industrial environments), multimedia (EN 55022/24/32/35 and the CISPR equivalents), household appliances (EN 55014-1/-2), industrial scientific and medical (EN 55011), lifts (EN 12015/12016), rolling stock and railway signalling (EN 50121-3-2, EN 50121-4), alarm systems (EN 50130-4), protection relays (EN 60255-26), welding machines (IEC/EN 60974-10), medical equipment (IEC/EN 60601-1-2), measurement and control (IEC/EN 61326-1 and -2-x), low-voltage switchgear (EN 61439-1, -7), fire and security alarm components (IEC 62599-2), home and building electronic systems (IEC/EN 63044-5-1, -2) and marine (DNV-CG-0339, IACS UR E10). RF spectrum coverage is equally deep, running from 3GPP conformance specifications for GSM, WCDMA, LTE and CDMA through the ETSI EN 301 908 and 301 511 cellular series to EN 300 328, EN 301 893, IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth SIG qualification, SRD standards below 1 GHz and below 30 MHz, EN 300 440 across 1 to 40 GHz, UWB (EN 302 065), GNSS (EN 300 413), telecom network equipment (EN 300 386) and wireless power transfer (EN 303 417). Testing uses automated measurement equipment and environments, and EMC sits alongside accredited safety, environmental and reliability, antenna and interoperability, Li-ion battery and failure analysis services under one roof, with turnkey compliance consulting and approval management available.
