Braco Compliance Limited is a New Zealand-based compliance agency and regulatory agent — not a testing laboratory. They are registered as a Responsible Supplier for both ACMA (Australia) and EESS (Electrical Equipment Safety System) frameworks, and act as an RCM (formerly C-Tick and A-Tick), R-NZ, and Telepermit agent. Their role is to help suppliers navigate and meet the regulatory compliance frameworks administered by ERAC, ACMA, and RSM for electrical safety, telecommunications, radiocommunications, and EMC in both Australia and New Zealand.

EMC Technologies also holds Competent Body status under the Australian Radiocommunications Act and CAB (Notified Body) status for the EU EMC Directive 2014/30/EC.

PowerLab Ltd is a Christchurch-based electrical testing laboratory located at 5 Sheffield Crescent, Burnside, Christchurch. They specialise in high voltage, high current, and electrical safety testing — not EMC. Their capabilities include high power impulse/AC/DC withstand testing, short circuit testing, appliance safety testing to AS/NZS and IEC standards, luminaire testing, and IP ratings. They are accredited by IANZ (ILAC member body, New Zealand's national accreditation body).

Stay in New Zealand when the IANZ scope matches and you can escort the prototype. Use Australia for a 10 m site, automotive, or a method the local lab does not run. Ask who signs the report if a NZ contact books an Australian chamber. If the product also needs FCC or ISED, say so before the first plot so the lab can collect extra limit lines instead of booking a second freight cycle.
