About

EMC Technologies is Australia's largest, most experienced and most accredited EMI/EMC/EMR/Safety testing group, established in 1992 by two EMC experts previously from the Department of Defence (Government Aircraft Facilities). With over 40 professional staff across four locations — Melbourne NW (HQ), Melbourne SE (EMC Bayswater subsidiary), Sydney, and Auckland NZ — they are the premier full-service EMC testing group in Australia and New Zealand. Key distinctions include ownership of the only commercial accredited 10 m iOATS in Australia and NZ (for large product radiated emissions), an outdoor OATS in Sydney for vehicles too large for the chamber, NATA accreditation for MIL-STD-461 and DO-160, and being the only VCCI-registered test house in Australia/NZ. EMC Technologies also holds Competent Body status under the Australian Radiocommunications Act and CAB (Notified Body) status for the EU EMC Directive 2014/30/EC.
