Sicom Testing operates from Via dell'Industria in the Begliano district of San Canzian d'Isonzo, in Friuli Venezia Giulia near the Slovenian border, and is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory for electrical, electronic and radio products holding ISO 9001 certification. Its market-access scope is broader than its size suggests: CE marking, FCC certification for the United States, ISED certification for Canada to ICES-003 and RSS-102, and UKCA marking, with local representation offered for the US and Canadian markets and accredited partner laboratories and certification bodies engaged where a scheme needs a designation Sicom does not itself hold. Testing covers design and pre-compliance work through to full compliance, with radiated and conducted emissions, harmonics and flicker, radiated and conducted immunity, electrostatic discharge, surge, voltage dips and interruptions, magnetic field immunity and - notably for a laboratory of this scale - bulk current injection. Radio testing and human exposure and SAR assessment sit alongside it, as do electrical safety, ecodesign and energy labelling, and RoHS. Three specialist verticals are called out that most general laboratories do not take on: railway equipment, naval installations, and electrified furniture, the last being a genuine niche created by powered and connected furniture needing both EMC and safety evidence.
