The Wheeling, IL Headquarters is a 30,000 sq ft facility housing 16 EMC test chambers capable of full-scan immunity and emissions testing at frequencies up to 40 GHz, covering MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160, FCC, ISED Canada, CE Mark, UKCA, Korea, and automotive EMC testing. Military EMC covers all MIL-STD-461 test methods including radiated/conducted emissions and susceptibility, plus power quality testing to MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, and MIL-STD-1399. Medical EMC including RFID testing for FDA compliance, shielding effectiveness, and cybersecurity compliance evaluation and testing (RED 2014/53/EU) are also offered. The Wheeling East Campus houses the Conformity Assessment division, covering environmental testing (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-202, RTCA/DO-160, ASTM, SAE, EN/IEC, ISO, ANSI, NEMA, ISTA, HASS) and product safety testing under LVD 2014/35/EU, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Medical Device Directive 93/42/EC, RED 2014/53/EU, CE Mark, UKCA, and US/Canada NRTL programs through the Nemko partnership. The Genoa City, WI facility, located 45 miles northwest of Wheeling, is situated on a four-acre parcel and features two 10-meter all-weather enclosed Open Area Test Sites, a 3-meter anechoic chamber, and multiple shielded rooms for radiated and conducted emissions testing. Wireless and radio testing is also based at this location, with 40+ years of wireless device experience and coverage of FCC, ISED Canada, ETSI, and other international wireless certification requirements.
