Emission Limit Checker

Compare radiated field strength to simplified CISPR 32 or FCC Part 15B limits and see your margin.

Use this when: You have a dBµV/m measurement and want a quick pass/fail margin check.

Reference only. Verify against your calibrated setup, antenna calibration data, and the applicable standard before making compliance decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about using this calculator

Which standards are supported?
CISPR 32 / EN 55032 (Class A at 10 m, Class B at 3 m; quasi-peak and average) and FCC Part 15B (Class A at 10 m, Class B at 3 m; quasi-peak). Always verify against the official standard for your product class.
What does margin mean?
Margin is your measured value minus the limit in dB. Negative margin means you are under the limit (pass); positive means over the limit (fail).
Does this replace a full compliance report?
No. This is a quick engineering check. Official testing requires accredited labs, correct detector settings, and the full standard including conducted emissions.
