In addition to their core business of T&M equipment rentals, sales, calibration, and repair, Avalon operates two A2LA-accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) semi-anechoic EMI/EMC chambers offering in-house testing services and chamber rental to clients requiring MIL-STD-461 and RTCA/DO-160 compliance testing. EMC testing services offered through the lab include radiated emissions (9 kHz to 40 GHz), radiated immunity (confirming equipment resilience against radiated RF fields and high-field sources), conducted emissions, and ESD and power line surge testing (up to 30 kV ESD, up to 6 kV surge). Standards supported include MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160, CE marking, and IEC test methods for automotive, defense, and aerospace applications. Chamber and equipment rental is available for clients who prefer to conduct testing independently on-site. Equipment inventory for rent and sale spans EMC/EMI receivers and analyzers, RF power amplifiers, transient generators, LISNs, ESD simulators, EMC probes and antennas, and environmental simulation equipment from leading manufacturers including Rohde & Schwarz, Keysight, Anritsu, Tektronix, and ETS-Lindgren.
