About

Element's Fremont laboratory is a world-class product compliance and regulatory testing facility located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Serving some of the world's leading server OEMs, hyperscale data-center suppliers, and IoT device manufacturers, the Fremont lab provides comprehensive EMI/EMC, wireless, product safety, NEBS, environmental, vibration, and thermal stress testing to accelerate time-to-market for high-performance connected technologies. The lab's EMC infrastructure includes 10-meter and 5-meter semi-anechoic chambers, supporting a full range of EMC evaluations for commercial, telecom, medical, automotive, aerospace, defense, and consumer electronics applications. EMC testing covers radiated and conducted emissions, immunity, ESD, and related standards across FCC, CISPR, EN, and VCCI requirements. The facility also provides extensive wireless testing and certification services, covering Bluetooth, ZigBee, RFID, WLAN/802.11, UltraWideBand (802.15), and WiMax (802.16) technologies, along with 3D/2D antenna pattern measurement. Element operates an FCC-certified Telecommunications Certification Body (TCB) on-site, enabling direct grant of FCC approvals and accelerating market access. NEBS (Network Equipment Building System) testing is another core strength at Fremont. As a Verizon-certified lab, the facility provides expert program management and engineering services for compliance with demanding GR-1089 and related telecom infrastructure standards, helping data-center and network equipment manufacturers reduce non-compliance issues during development. Working closely with its sister facility, Element Newark, the Fremont lab also delivers environmental conditioning, shock and vibration testing, acoustic noise testing, HALT/HASS, and dynamics evaluations. The lab supports international market access approvals for markets including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Indonesia, India, China, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.
