Elite Electronic Engineering, Inc. is a full-service EMC/EMI, environmental stress, and photometric testing laboratory founded in 1954 and based in Downers Grove, Illinois. The lab is accredited by both A2LA and NVLAP (Lab Code 100278-0), holds FCC Telecommunications Certification Body (TCB) status, and is recognized as a European Union Notified Body, making it one of the more comprehensively accredited independent labs in North America. The lab is also recognized by automotive OEMs and the Defense Logistics Agency, and holds CTIA Authorized Test Lab status for wireless testing.
EMC capabilities span automotive component and whole vehicle EMC testing, military EMC testing (MIL-STD-461), commercial aviation EMC testing (RTCA DO-160), regulatory EMC testing for FCC, ISED Canada, CE Mark, and UKCA, lightning and HIRF testing, high power testing, and antenna performance testing. Environmental stress testing covers vibration and shock, temperature, humidity and altitude, dust, corrosion, rain and fluid exposure, HALT/HASS, electrical connector and cable testing, life cycle testing, acceleration testing, and MIL-STD-810. Photometric testing includes LM-79 testing for automotive and aerospace lighting, and the lab also holds FAA airport lighting certification.
