Description
The AH Systems PAM-0118P is a broadband, low-noise preamplifier covering 20 MHz to 18 GHz with a typical gain of 37 dB and a noise figure of 3.0 dB — making it well-suited for improving system sensitivity in both lab and field environments. Designed to pair with the double ridge guide horn antenna, it delivers at least 35 dB of system sensitivity improvement and is an ideal choice for low-amplitude test measurements. A built-in 1-watt limiter provides additional input protection, making it a reliable option for testing in high-field environments.
The PAM-0118P features a flatness of ±2.75 dB above 500 MHz, a typical VSWR of less than 2.5:1, and uses N-type female connectors. Each unit is individually calibrated with a gain calibration certificate included. Supported test applications include FCC, MIL-STD, VDE, and TEMPEST testing. The unit is powered by a 100/220 VAC regulated supply outputting 15 VDC at 225 mA, and a low voltage indicator allows operation from an external 15V DC battery — a practical advantage for field measurements.
