PAM-0204

Description
The AH Systems PAM-0204 is a general-purpose broadband preamplifier covering 20 MHz to 4 GHz, designed for reliable and repeatable measurements in EMC lab and field RFI testing environments. With a typical gain of 26 dB and a minimum of 22 dB, it improves overall system sensitivity by at least 20 dB across its operating range.
Key specifications include a noise figure of 4.5 dB, gain flatness of ±5 dB, an input VSWR of 2.0:1 and output VSWR of 1.7:1, and N-type female connectors. Each unit is individually calibrated with a gain calibration certificate included, and the PAM-0204 is suited for use in FCC, MIL-STD, VDE, and TEMPEST testing applications.
The unit comes with a 12-volt DC regulated power source and features a low voltage indicator that allows operation from an external 12V DC battery — a useful option for portable field setups. With a weight of 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg) and a compact form factor, it integrates easily into both bench-top and mobile test chains.
