PAM-5K300

Description
The AH Systems PAM-5K300 is a low-frequency, low-noise preamplifier covering 5 kHz to 300 MHz, designed to provide reliable and repeatable measurements in EMC compliance and general RFI testing environments. With a typical gain of 32 dB and a minimum of 28 dB, it improves overall system sensitivity by at least 28 dB — making it a capable solution for detecting weak low-frequency emissions.
Key specifications include a noise figure of 2.1 dB, gain flatness of ±1 dB across the frequency range, and a typical input and output VSWR of less than 1.5:1. The unit uses N-type female connectors and is individually calibrated, with each unit's calibration traceable to NIST. Physical dimensions are 2.5" × 3.75" × 6.25" with a weight of 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg). The PAM-5K300 comes with a 12-volt DC regulated power source and includes a low voltage indicator for operation from an external 12V DC battery, offering flexibility for portable field use
