Description
The Langer EMV PA 303 N is a preamplifier covering 100 kHz to 3 GHz, designed specifically for amplifying weak measuring signals from near-field probes with high spatial resolution during PCB-level EMC diagnostic work. With 30 dB of gain and a noise figure of 4.5 dB, it provides the same sensitivity performance as the PA 303 BNC and PA 303 SMA variants in a slightly larger housing fitted with 50 Ω N-type connectors — making it the natural choice for setups where N-type interconnects are already in use or where the more robust N-type interface is preferred.
Key specifications include a -1 dB output compression point of +10 dBm, a maximum input power of +13 dBm, and a supply voltage of 12 VDC at 65 mA — the lowest current draw in the PA 303 range. N-type connectors are used at both input and output. BNC (PA 303 BNC) and SMA (PA 303 SMA) connector variants are also available, all sharing identical electrical specifications. The unit measures 57 × 47 × 26 mm and weighs 300 g, reflecting the larger form factor of the N-type connector housing compared to the BNC and SMA variants.
