The MTS Systemtechnik MKV-822-0200 is a low-noise broadband antenna preamplifier covering 30 MHz to 3 GHz, developed specifically to amplify low signal levels in EMC measurement applications and extend the effective antenna range. With a minimum gain of 16 dB and a maximum noise figure of 2.5 dB, it improves overall system sensitivity when placed directly at the antenna — minimising the impact of cable attenuation and receiver noise on measurements across the full frequency range.

Key specifications include a maximum input power of -15 dBm, 50 Ω impedance, and N-type connectors at both input (N-male) and output (N-female), allowing it to be connected inline without additional adapters.
