EMC-PA-26540

Description
The EMC-PA-26540 is a high-gain millimeter-wave preamplifier covering 26.5 GHz to 40 GHz, designed to significantly improve system signal-to-noise ratio at the upper end of the Ka-band where path loss, cable attenuation, and connector losses are at their most severe. With the highest gain in the series at 48 dB, gain flatness of ±3 dB, and a noise figure of 5.5 dB, it provides the amplification headroom needed to resolve weak DUT emissions against tight compliance limits when used in combination with horn antennas across the 26.5–40 GHz range.
Key specifications include a maximum output power of +19 dBm — the highest output power in the series — and 50 Ω impedance. It is suited for EMI compliance measurements, 5G FR2 spurious and harmonic characterization across n257, n258, n260, and n261 bands, automotive radar testing above 26.5 GHz, and antenna measurements in the upper millimeter-wave range. It pairs directly with the EMC-PA-18265 to provide continuous high-gain coverage from 18 GHz through 40 GHz, and with the full series for complete 500 MHz to 40 GHz system coverage.
