Description
The Frankonia ERX-6 is the flagship full-compliance EMI test receiver covering 10 Hz to 6 GHz (7 GHz optional), designed for both mobile use and system integration. Unlike the ERC-6 which uses software-based FFT, the ERX-6 employs hardware-based FFT technology for the highest possible measurement speed — reducing Quasi-Peak measurements from hours to seconds. It operates in three modes: traditional superheterodyne EMI receiver, hardware FFT-based measuring instrument per CISPR 16-1-1 Ed. 3.1, and a very fast spectrum analyzer mode. With an excellent noise floor of ‹ –12 dBµV in bands C/D and ‹ –3 dBµV in band E, external preamplifiers are rarely needed. The integrated 8.4" touchscreen PC runs Windows 10 with the PROVE-EMC software for fully automated measurements including antenna mast and turntable control. All CISPR detectors are supported including CISPR-RMS. Compliant with CISPR 16-1-1, MIL-STD-461 and ETSI standards.
