FCKL 1528

Description
The FCKL 1528 is a conducted-interference measuring receiver covering 9 kHz to 30 MHz in two CISPR bands (Band A: 9–150 kHz / Band B: 150 kHz–30 MHz), with automatic bandwidth and detector time-constant switching at the 150 kHz crossover. Front-panel operation uses a dual-scale analogue meter (linear voltage and 50 dB logarithmic overview) alongside a 3-digit LED reference-level display. An integrated CISPR pulse standard (25 Hz / 100 Hz) enables substitution-method calibration directly from the front panel.
VARISCAN look-ahead IF analysis adapts scan speed to the spectrum in real time, allowing direct CISPR Quasi-Peak, CAV, and CRMS sweeps without a peak pre-scan. A resistive π-attenuator (1 dB steps, 95 dB total) handles precision level setting; a separate 10 W / 10 dB power attenuator at the RF input protects the receiver when used with LISNs up to 4 × 400 A. PC control is via IEEE-488 with Schwarzbeck Messbase software (Windows 95–XP); analogue XY outputs and a sub-D LISN control connector support semi-automatic recorder operation.
An optional tracking generator (9 kHz–30 MHz, 120 dBμV / 1 V into 50 Ω) enables filter insertion-loss, site-attenuation, and antenna-coupling measurements with dynamic range exceeding 130 dB in theory.
