Element Materials Technology

Element's Boucherville laboratory is an EMC/EMI and environmental testing facility located in Boucherville, Quebec, just outside Montreal. Cross-border commercial and industrial work

Consumer and IT products need ISED and FCC emissions that a certification body will accept on both sides of the border. Industrial and energy electronics in the west add IEC 61000. Medical and telecom clusters in Ontario and Quebec want 60601 or network-equipment immunity. A lab that already writes dual-limit reports will save a week of back-and-forth.

Start with the province you can drive to, then read SCC/ISED-related scope. Confirm whether FCC is in-house. For wireless, verify radio capability separately from EMC. If the listing is a consultancy, get the chamber name on the quote.

Can Canadian labs do FCC and ISED in one visit?
Many commercial sites can. Ask them to plan both limit lines and the ISED labeling notes before the first plot. A FCC-only report is not automatically ISED-ready.
Which province should I open first?
