About
Consept Test ve Teknoloji Merkezi is a Turkish independent test, analysis and certification centre with its laboratory at Koesklue Cesme Mah. 577. Sk. No:17 in Gebze, Kocaeli - the heart of Turkey's automotive and industrial belt east of Istanbul - and a European head office registered as Consept Europe Kft in Budapest. The company describes itself as 100 percent domestically owned and independent, has served the sector since 2002 and reports more than 50,000 completed reports. Its recognition portfolio is unusual in that the laboratory accreditation comes from the International Accreditation Service (IAS) rather than the Turkish national body: certificate TL-872 for the testing laboratory and AA-787 as an inspection body, both to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 respectively. It also holds a Technical Service authorisation from the Hungarian National Transport Authority (NKH) enabling it to act as an official technical service in European type-approval processes, a CARAT (Certified Automotive Research and Assessment Testing) cooperation agreement with TUV SUD, and Approval and Test Station (ATS Point) status under certificate 0068. Service coverage spans EMC, LVD electrical safety, RF and wireless, electrical and high-voltage testing, environmental testing (climatic, vibration, corrosion), automotive type approval and OEM testing, product certification, R&D support, turnkey laboratory installation and training. Defence is a declared focus: the centre runs MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810 programmes with high confidentiality requirements and NATO standards compliance, and in July 2026 announced that MIL-STD-461 RS105 (high-altitude electromagnetic pulse) capability is now available in Turkey - a capability with very few holders regionally. Other recent investments include a 3,000 W power amplifier commissioned in April 2026 for increased high-field radiated immunity and susceptibility capacity across both military and automotive standards, and a reverberation chamber announced in July 2026. Automotive work covers E-mark homologation, ESA (electrical sub-assembly) testing and EV battery testing across everything from passenger cars to agricultural machinery, with named OEM standards from Scania, Tesla, VW, Ford and Mercedes. Railway (EN 50121), medical (EN 60601-1 series), energy and infrastructure including inverters, meters and renewable systems, and telecommunications round out the sector list.
