About
SF Automationselektronik, founded in Dresden in 2009 and a member of the Silicon Saxony high-tech cluster, is a contract electronics development house that operates its own EMC laboratory as part of its design service rather than as a standalone test business. The company covers the full development chain - requirement definition, circuit design, PCB layout, hardware-oriented firmware, prototype build and transfer into manufacturing - and has delivered more than 1,500 customer projects since founding. The in-house EMC laboratory is used throughout that chain: emission and immunity measurements are run on prototypes during layout iteration so that filtering, shielding and grounding decisions are made on measured evidence, and the resulting documentation feeds the customer's CE declaration under the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. Because the same engineers who designed the board also run the measurements, the laboratory functions primarily as a diagnostic and pre-compliance resource, with accredited verification arranged externally when a formal report is required. The company operates a certified ISO 9001 quality management system but publishes no ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for the laboratory, so it is listed here as a non-accredited development facility. Specialisations are custom industrial and automation electronics, embedded hardware with EMC-aware layout design, and design-stage EMC qualification for small and mid-sized manufacturers taking a new product to CE marking.
