TDEMI® Mobile+ Series

Description
The TDEMI M+ (Mobile Plus) from Gauss Instruments is a standalone, touchscreen-operated EMI receiver and signal analyzer for fast pre-compliance and final-compliance emission testing, in the lab or in the field. It builds on the same FFT-based HyperOverlapping (TDEMI) architecture as the Mobile M but integrates a full 64-bit embedded PC, solid-state disk and an 8.4″ true-colour touchscreen into a ruggedized, milled-housing chassis designed for shock, vibration and outdoor temperature stability. Operation is directly at the screen, or remotely via the SCPI command set over Gigabit Ethernet for integration into an automated test environment.
Four frequency variants — M1+, M3+, M6+ and M7+ — cover 9 kHz to 1, 3, 6 and 7 GHz respectively, extendable down to 10 Hz with Option MIL/DO-UG. The base instrument meets CISPR 16-1-1 Ed. 3.1 for pulse repetition frequencies down to 10 Hz and upgrades in the field to full compliance across the band (Options COM-UG, COM2-UG, PRLNA-UG).
It runs as a CISPR-compliant stepped receiver, an FFT-based receiver, a spectrum analyzer, and — with the relevant options — a real-time EMI receiver/spectrogram and real-time spectrum analyzer at 112 MHz (Opt. RTEMI112-UG / RTSPA112-UG) or 225 MHz (Opt. RTEMI225-UG / RTSPA225-UG) real-time bandwidth, with a 300 ps probability of intercept for short or intermittent disturbances. Like the Mobile M it is optimized for low power (~65 W) and can be powered from 12 V DC, mains, or an optional battery pack (~3 h, Opt. BAT-UG), making it suitable for on-board vehicle and aircraft testing. With the EMI64k automation suite it supports fully automated conducted, disturbance-power, radiated (FAR/OATS/SAC) and GTEM testing including report generation. Made in Germany; recommended calibration interval 24 months.
