TDEMI® Mobile Series

Description
The TDEMI M (Mobile) from Gauss Instruments is a compact, USB-controlled EMI receiver and signal analyzer for fast pre-compliance and field emission testing. Built on the company's FFT-based HyperOverlapping (TDEMI) architecture, it performs fully gapless real-time measurement on board and transfers results over USB 3.0 to an external Windows laptop, tablet or PC — which also hosts all setups, limit lines, transducers and reports. The instrument itself stores nothing, making it well suited to shared or confidentiality-sensitive use.
Four frequency variants are offered — M1, M3, M6 and M7 — covering 9 kHz to 1, 3, 6 and 7 GHz respectively, extendable down to 10 Hz with Option MIL/DO-UG for MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 work. The base instrument meets CISPR 16-1-1 Ed. 3.1 for pulse repetition frequencies down to 10 Hz, and can be upgraded later to full compliance across the band (Options COM-UG, COM2-UG and PRLNA-UG) without replacing the hardware.
It operates as a CISPR-compliant stepped receiver, an FFT-based receiver, a spectrum analyzer, and — with the relevant options — a real-time EMI receiver/spectrogram and real-time spectrum analyzer at 112 MHz (Opt. RTEMI112-UG / RTSPA112-UG) or 225 MHz (Opt. RTEMI225-UG / RTSPA225-UG) real-time bandwidth, with a 300 ps probability of intercept for catching short or intermittent events. Quasi-peak scans that take a conventional receiver far longer complete in seconds. Power draw is low (~50 W), and the unit runs from 12 V DC, mains, or an optional battery pack (~3 h, Opt. BAT-UG). M-specific options include a tracking generator (MG-UG) for cable/filter transmission tests and a protected second RF input (RF1/RF2-UG). Made in Germany; recommended calibration interval 24 months.
