About
BK Services AB was founded on 1 July 2006 by Johan Bergstrand and Gunnar Karlström, and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2026. Headquartered at Fridtunagatan 24 in Ebbepark, Linköping — just minutes from the E4 motorway — BK Services conducts approximately 300 test assignments per year across its three test chambers: Kumla (9 kHz–6 GHz emissions and immunity including burst, surge, and ESD), Älvsjö (1–26 GHz radiated emissions and RED spurious/output power measurements), and the new Mjärdevi chamber currently being commissioned (5-metre test distance, 9 kHz–6 GHz, 1 000 V / 200 A power filter). The lab serves consumer, IT, industrial, automotive, aerospace, and military electronics customers, offering pre-compliance and full certification testing for CE (EMC Directive, RED, LVD), FCC Part 15b, CISPR 25/ISO 11452-4 (BCI)/ISO 7637/ISO 10605 for vehicle electronics, and a selection of MIL-STD-461G emission and immunity measurements for military products. Partners include BKD, Nemko, Frendus, and Würth Elektronik.
