About

CEcert GmbH is an independent and neutral test laboratory at Alter Holzhafen 19a in Wismar on the German Baltic coast, accredited by DAkkS to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (D-PL-12049-01-00, covered by the ILAC MRA) across three fields: electromagnetic compatibility, safety of electrical equipment and environmental simulation. It is recognised by the IECEE in the CB Scheme as a CB Testing Laboratory, is a member of Underwriters Laboratories' Third Party Test Data Program, and is a KBA-designated Technical Service in categories A and D, authorising it to carry out EMC tests for EC type-approvals, UN ECE licences and national road traffic regulations. The chamber estate is the headline: an anechoic chamber of 18 m x 13 m x 9 m rated at 3 t/m2, a second of 5 m x 4 m x 3.5 m at 5 t/m2, and a third of 5 m x 5 m x 2.5 m, giving both 3 m and 10 m working sections and the ability to test products weighing up to 3 tonnes. Published emission capability covers conducted disturbance from 9 kHz to 30 MHz single- and three-phase at 25 A, radiated disturbance at 3 to 10 m from 150 kHz to 18 GHz, low-frequency electric and magnetic fields from 5 Hz to 30 kHz, disturbance power from 30 to 300 MHz, mains voltage phenomena (harmonics and flicker) single-phase at 16 A, and safety measurement in electromagnetic fields. Immunity is strong on the high-level end: ESD to 25 kV, RF fields above 100 V/m from 150 kHz to 18 GHz, burst to 4 kV, surge to 4 kV at 1.2/50 us, vehicle on-board electrical transient and harmonic disturbances, induced RF currents at U0 = 30 V, power frequency magnetic fields to 160 A/m and pulse magnetic field immunity to 1,400 A/m. The basic standards list runs beyond the usual set to include IEC 61000-4-12 ring wave, -4-16 common mode 0 Hz to 150 kHz, -4-18 damped oscillatory wave, -4-29 DC port dips and -4-30 power quality measurement. Sector coverage spans medical (IEC 60601-1-2), railway (EN 50155), measurement and laboratory equipment (IEC 61326-1), aviation (RTCA DO-160 section 21), marine (IEC 60945) and automotive (CISPR 25, ECE R10 with E-mark approval service).
