ESİM Test Hizmetleri is a TÜRKAK-accredited EMC and LVD testing laboratory in the TOSB Automotive Supplier Specialised Organized Industrial Zone, Çayırova, Kocaeli. It describes itself as Turkey's first private testing and certification laboratory, founded in 1998 under the leadership of TESİD (Turkish Electronics Industry Association) in partnership with the ESİM Electronics Industry Specialisation Centre Foundation, TTGV, KOSGEB, EMSAD and DEKRA Certification BV (formerly KEMA Quality). The accredited EMC standards include the generic standards TS EN 61000-6-1/-6-3 (residential, commercial and light-industrial) and 61000-6-2/-6-4 (industrial), TS EN 55032 and 55035 for multimedia and IT equipment, TS EN 60601-1-2 for medical electrical equipment and TS EN 55014-1/-2 for household appliances — serving household and commercial appliances, luminaires and LED systems, professional and industrial equipment, measurement/control/laboratory instruments and medical devices. Beyond EMC and LVD, ESİM provides military and automotive testing, IP and environmental tests, material tests, EMF measurements, R&D support, tractor type-approval tests, third-party surveillance and training.
