Eurofins KCTL operates from Sinjeong-ro in Giheung-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, in the semiconductor and electronics corridor south of Seoul, and is the Korean testing arm of the Eurofins group - which gives it an unusual position: a Korean laboratory inside a network whose United States sister laboratories in Austin, Baltimore and Santa Clara are themselves recognised by Korea's RRA for testing to Korean standards, so work can move in either direction between Korea and North America within one organisation. Six service lines are declared: safety, EMC, wireless, reliability, medical equipment and global certification, delivered as what the company calls a one-stop testing and certification service. Its regulatory certification practice covers full testing for type approvals in Korea and abroad across electrical and electronic devices, medical devices, automotive and military industry components. The capability that distinguishes it is mobile device conformity assessment: alongside the testing it provides technical consulting for GCR, PTCRB and CTIA - the global certification forum and the North American carrier and industry programmes that a handset or cellular module must satisfy in addition to regulatory approval before network operators will accept it. Very few laboratories in this directory hold that combination, and it is the reason the company describes itself as a specialised laboratory in conformity testing.
