International Standards Laboratory Corp. (ISL, 翔智科技) has delivered EMC and safety certification since 1986 from two laboratories in Lung-Tan District, Taoyuan: the LungTan EMC & Safety Laboratory (No. 120, Ln. 180, Hsin Ho Rd.) and the LungTan Vehicle Laboratory (No. 566, Ln. 134, Lungyuan Rd.), the latter located within the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology and equipped with TESEQ automotive EMC systems. The LungTan EMC laboratory operates two 10 m chambers and is accredited or recognised by BSMI, TAF, FCC, CE, VCCI and A2LA; the automotive lab is accredited by A2LA, CAPA and VSCC and recognised by leading car makers. ISL's RF sites are an NCC- and TAF-accredited certification body for controlled telecommunications radio-frequency devices, and its safety lab is TAF ISO/IEC 17025 accredited and recognised by Nemko, UL and TÜV. EMC standard coverage spans ITE and multimedia (CISPR 32/35, CISPR 22/24), medical (IEC 60601-1-2), ISM (CISPR 11), lighting (CISPR 15), alarm systems (EN 50130-4), railway (EN 50121 / EN 50155 / IEC 62236), maritime (IEC 60945), programmable controllers (IEC 61131-2), telecom network equipment (EN 300 386) and the full IEC 61000-3/-4 harmonics, flicker and immunity series, including d.c.-port tests (61000-4-17/-29). Additional services cover energy efficiency, global market access, drones and airborne electronic equipment certification.
