NU Laboratories, Inc. is a full-service EMI/EMC and environmental testing laboratory located at 312 Old Allerton Road in Annandale, New Jersey, and is a company of Noise Unlimited, Inc. The lab offers full-service EMI/EMC testing, failure analysis, and mitigation recommendations, with a particular focus on military and shipboard specifications. The EMI/EMC facility houses two shielded enclosures. The primary chamber is a Panashield semi-anechoic electromagnetic shielded enclosure with inside dimensions of 23' × 16' × 12' and a usable test area of 10.7' × 9.8', lined with 20-inch carbon-impregnated cone absorber material and conforming to MIL-STD-461E/F. The second chamber is a Universal Shielding Corp. enclosure measuring 12' × 9' × 9'. Both chambers have fully filtered power. A notable facility feature is a double-wide chamber entry door (72" × 89") accommodating large equipment under test, supported by a 5,000 lb forklift, in-house welding, custom fixture fabrication, waveguide feed-throughs for hydraulic and pneumatic lines, cooling water (100 psig), and compressed air (100 psi).
