Originally formed when Sigma Group acquired part of Sony Mobile in 2013, Sigma Connectivity has pioneered the development of connected devices for leading global technology companies across consumer electronics, medical devices, and industrial IoT. In September 2024, Sigma Connectivity made a landmark acquisition: taking over the full TÜV Rheinland EMC facilities and measurement systems in Lund, Sweden — adding seven measuring chambers to their capabilities, highlighted by the SAC5 chamber capable of measurements up to 330 GHz. This investment, led by Lab Manager Ola Norlén, positions Sigma Connectivity as the highest-frequency EMC lab in Sweden. The Lund lab offers EMC chambers for rent (enabling pre-compliance and R&D testing), alongside a comprehensive range of services including EMC product guidance, troubleshooting, simulations, and test house support. Labs span 5G, optoelectronics, RF & antenna, prototype, mechanical, EMC, and audio & acoustic disciplines across the Lund site.
