Delhi Test House, operating from the Azadpur Industrial Area on GT Karnal Road in north Delhi, is among the oldest commercial testing laboratories in India, issuing test reports since 1975, and is NABL accredited, BIS recognised and ISO certified. Its EMC and EMI compliance facility sits inside an exceptionally wide multi-discipline operation rather than standing alone, and that breadth is the laboratory's defining characteristic: electrical products including cables, transformers, wiring accessories, meters and cells and batteries; domestic electrical appliances; electronics covering audio equipment, luminaires, components, IT equipment and power supplies; rubber and polymer products; fire extinguishers; toys and sports equipment; building materials with non-destructive testing; metals, alloys, ores and minerals; food, agricultural, AYUSH and pharmaceutical products; and water and pollution analysis. For a manufacturer whose product needs EMC evidence alongside materials, chemical or safety testing for BIS certification, that single-window scope is the practical draw. EMC work is run against the Indian IS standards adopted from the CISPR and IEC originals together with the IEC 61000 immunity series.
